Fleur-de-lis,
the French Royal Lily, had been one of the most recognizable icons in the
history of architecture. A similar shape, called sebka was also used in the
Moorish architecture. Sebka motif also is carved onto many monuments in
Granada. In our contemporary take on the fleur-de-lis, we emphasize the
irreverent artistic cosmopolitanism of a shape that can surpass the political
boundaries of nations.
