Ziggurat

Meet the Ziggurat:

Ziggurat was one of the most prominent structures in ancient Mesopotamia. Ziggurats were built in pyramid shape, generally following a cubic structural base. Sumerians developed the belief that Gods were actually living on top of the buildings. In this ring, we are paying homage to the indispensable status of the Ziggurats in the history of civilization. The black rock crystals on the corners reflect the influence of the building on the rest of civilization whereas the square shape iterates its structural form.
